The Arabic AI Modeling (ARAM) Lab conducts research in Arabic NLP, with a focus on educational applications, human-centered NLP, and linguistically informed modeling. Our work spans the full spectrum of data, modeling, and evaluation, and we actively collaborate across disciplines that intersect with Arabic language technologies. While our main interests center on Arabic, we also welcome work in multilingual, cross-lingual, and domain-specific settings involving Arabic.

You do not need to speak Arabic fluently to join the lab. However, you should be open to learning and understanding Arabic linguistic concepts relevant to your project.

Research Visits and Internships

Due to the focused nature of our research, we currently do not offer general internship positions. However, we welcome short-term visiting researchers and students (typically for 3–4 months).
